I'm personally in awe of the way this game constructs its comedy -- like it's funny all over but also the entire structure of the game, every feature of it, is building up to making its ultimate punchline really, really hilarious, and it landed really well for me, and I sort of just want to gush about it to everyone I know? Which I will do responsibly, of course.
Anyway, this is really really fun and funny, and shows excellent mastery of comedy, and you should feel great about it!
Loved this game. Next to the cool battle sprite art, my favorite thing was the hilarious writing. It frequently makes jokes on common RPG tropes but it never feels like it disrespects the genre, while also keeping the story coherent. Also the music is really nice (especially the level up jingle)

Incredible game. I was most impressed by the detail in the design of the sprites for the scorpion, the lobster and the spider enemies.

Great, short and sweet game, loved every second of it!
However, the Beacon Boys' lines have a mistake in them, I think you forgot that R has 4 dots and wrote it with 3, so the morse code is misspelled...
But that's alright. Still a great game. With amazing music!
R does not have 4, or even 3 dots, R is -.-
I believe they meant H instead of R because the message it gives it "Over Tsere" instead of "Over There"
I know this game is blowing up probably by surprise, but I demand a Switch port so I can teach my niece about placeholder art.
