coming back to this a year after release to say i'm still in love with this game
i've been doing sprite art since i was a child but i think this was what finally pushed me into starting to make games around that art
every single creature design oozes charm (papiloptere is my favourite <3) and the experience of playing through this all in one sitting on a hot summer evening took me back to when i was a kid scouring through all the museum exhibits in yoshi's island DS
such a wonderful game, it was a blast getting to explore a colorful world filled with especially charming critters :-) being able to see each of the animals unique animations was my favorite!! so much personality in them, the pixel art really blew me away.. i hope to see the space archives gang again, theyre a really fun group of characters hehe
Such a special experience, feels like a fully realized spiritual another to Apple Quest. I cannot wait to remember this game in a few years and play it all over again. Thank you.
Such an enjoyable, whimsical and creative 'catch 'em all' sort of game! Sometimes tricky but never impossible! And ALWAYS hilarious! Filled my curiosity meters to the max!
one of the best games i’ve ever played, seriously. it’s such a wonderful experience. the colors, the designs, the music, the writing- all of it is so well done. i found myself entranced by the setting and all of the little descriptions that raised more questions than answers, and spent hours just reading through everything and walking about. also sylvia best animal :3

This was an absolute delight, love a pure-joy texture piece like this. The 100% ending was very cute and sweet. Excited for anything else you put out, loved this and Franken to bits.
Loving this game. Joe has shared his vitamin deficiency with me and now the world is permanently blue-purpleish. Is there a way to undo this? I miss the colors.
Hello! When you find 15, 30, and 45 animals, it unlocks a new colour palette and song to mark your progress! If you generate a new map by going into your ship and out again, the next map can have any of the palettes you've unlocked, so eventually you'll see the one you like again!
I made an account on itch just to say that I watched Dunkey stream this and it was such a wonderful experience! Even though he found all the animals, I decided to buy it because this really was one of the most beautiful things I've experienced this year. Thank you!
Try opening it again, it'll still fail but then immediately after go to your System Preferences, click Security & Privacy and there should be an option to allow you to essentially whitelist the game and allow you to open it.
played this game in a voice chat with a couple of friends today and had a great time! love the pixel art and of course the character designs. very nice reward for getting 100% too! highly recommend it!
This is the most beautiful game i've ever played in my life, i love it so so much!! The music, the characters the story the message omg its all so good!!! My heart feels so full i am so happy i can't breathe!! And you know that blue triangle shaped monster with the three eyes? That one is great. Yazubi i think it was called. Actually, it might just be the best thing in the universe...?

I finally got around to playing this and I'm so happy I did, the first best time was when it came out, the next best time was today!
The amount of whimsy that I felt the entire time was absolutely godlike. Truly a spectacle and something I will remember for a long time!

Is the game locked to 24FPS?
it can be increased, but all the animations are tied to the framerate so it'd probably get really weird and fast.
